What’s in the name Basi Collective?

“Basi” comes from Yvonne’s last name and translates to “groundwork” in Italian—a fitting reminder of how we approach every project. We focus on laying a strong foundation through careful planning, thoughtful design, and strategic project management—qualities our clients consistently say make working with us a seamless and rewarding experience.

The “Collective” represents our collaborative approach. Great design isn’t about a single voice; it’s about understanding how a space affects everyone who interacts with it, from the room itself to the larger community. By partnering closely with clients and our trusted network of consultants, we deliver holistic, intentional, and thoroughly considered design solutions.

Basi Collective is more than a name—it’s the ethos that guides our work: grounded, collaborative, and purpose-driven design.
